OUR COUNTRY.

MEDELLIN

There are many reasons that make Medellín a destination, "the city of eternal spring" it  is, a valley between mountains his spring weather, the warmth of its people, the "paisas". It is, also, as a center for art and home to great artists. Here the sun is recreated in the mornings and tones of red in the evening the house of their slopes and in the evenings, they blur the lines of the mountains with the sky. Medellin keeps its doors open arms, and its people, "paisas", attached to their land and their traditions, you will feel at home.

Bolivar Park 
It is an important historical center. It is the Metropolitan Cathedra lis the world's largest church built of brick clay,  in 1875. There are activities such as: Park Retreat, classical pieces and folk music every Sunday. It is also famous San Alejo Market, where samples are manufactured and marketed craft of all kinds, is held the first Saturday of each month.


Metropolitan Train- Subway
An easy, quick and inexpensive to spot represents Medellin subway, it became one of the symbols of current Medellin.
The subway, as it is called and familial dynamics changed citadino transport, plus it is the only one of its kind in Colombia. Almost all the faces of Medellin are seen from the windows of subway.

Flower Fair

It lasts 10 days and takes place every year, in the first weeks of August, it is very beautiful.

Santa Fe Zoo
It houses a population of 1,000 animal species originating in America and other continents, like  birds, flamingos, eagles, parrots, condors, ostriches, turtles, elephants, rhinos, zebras and tigers, etc. There are also some with only butterflies, is a good place for to visit with the family.

Antioquia Museum
Founded in 1881, the Museum of Antioquia have the opportunity to temporary exhibitions and permanent artworks prehispanic, colonial, republican and contemporary, paintings, sculptures, photographs, cartoons and drawings, national and international artists, 168 works also contain the botero

AMAZONAS
The department of Amazonas is the southernmost region of Colombia, located in the left margin of the longest and mightiest river in the world


Amazon rainforest is also the largest and most biodiversity of Earth, also known as the lungs of the world, immeasurable ecological reserve ratios belonging to several South American countries.




Touristic Sites

National Park Amacayacu

In Amacayacu National Park, stately reserve of 294 thousand hectares, live 150 species of mammals, 468 of birds and a lot of reptiles.



At the park visitors can do various activities such as trips along the Amazon River to various islands, including the island of the Monkeys (where you can find hundreds of monkeys), on the island of Mocagua (you can see the Victoria Regia or lotus flower) and one of the most interesting activities: a trip upriver to Lake Tarapoto, where you can see the pink dolphins and gray freshwater.

Puerto Nariño

Lake Tarapoto

Leticia


Leticia is built on the left bank of the Amazon River. Its neighboring city status gives special features that add to the quality of river that has a special trade. Manaus Tropical Zoo

The Manaus Zoo is a hands down must see for anyone hoping to get a glimpse of rare and unique Amazonian wildlife. The sights and sounds of the zoo personify Brazilian adventure travel in every way possible. The deft reconstruction of animal habitats began by orders of the Brazilian Army Center for Jungle Warfare Training, and has undergone many recent improvements to make the zoo more attractive to visitors.

THE SAN ANDRÉS ISLAND




The San Andres Island is accepted by its awesome sea and flora and fauna into this.  The Island sea has seven color by barrier reef, this is third barrier reef in the world that protect to island for this San Andres never had have incidents, its barrier reef is home to millon and millon of fish and creates a fabulous show of color. Has a tropical climate approximate with 27°C, terrestrial ecosystems as tropical rainforests, the east coast is beach and the west coast is stone chain. 














On 9 November 2000, UNESCO declared the archipelago of San Andres, Providence and Santa Catalina as new World Biosphere Reserve, called "SEAFLOWER". With SEAFLOWER name, in memory of the ship that brought the Islands early English Puritans, this reserve of 349,800 km2 of marine area in the larger world. Its ecosystems include: a variety of coral reefs, seagrass beds, mangroves, ocean, beaches, tropical dry forest and forest succession, whose conditions range from almost completely pristine to degraded, illustrating the effects of a wide variety of uses.




















The population have been qualified as “culura raizal”, the official language is English island a combination between English and French by their colony history, however they use the Spanish. Their economic is based in fishing, tourism and market because is a duty-free port declared in 1953.

BOGOTÁ D.C



Bogotá is the most important city in Colombia has
       the leading companies of the country and is one of the main
Cities of Latin America.






We can see the first church in the country is the oldest and was surrounded by 12 houses making up the capital.











His most touristic sites and beautiful architecture is the Primate Cathedral, the planetarium, Plaza the Bolivar and surrounding the center range where at the top of one of the hills is built one church signs which is a sanctuary and have the ability to upload it on foot or by cable car. 









 The first settlers were the Muiscas Bogota, belonging to the Chibcha language family. On arrival of the conquerors, were an estimated half a million indigenous of this group. They occupied the highland and temperate foothills between the Sumapaz massif in the southwest and the Snowy Cocuy in the northeast, in an area of ​​about 25,000 km2 covering the plateau of Bogota, part of the current Boyacá department and a small region of Santander.
